Bio: I have been the Region 10 Target Zero Manager since July 2016. I spent 23 years as a 911 emergency dispatcher, primarily in Snohomish County. I became interested in traffic safety after a family member was killed by a DUI driver just 3 days short of his high school graduation. This had a profound effect on me and spurred me to want to change our driving culture. I spend a few years volunteering for MADD as a Walk Like MADD team leader. I also served as the volunteer Marketing Coordinator for Western Washington MADD. I hold a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Seattle University.
