Bio: Prior to my traffic safety work, I worked in the field of substance abuse prevention and intervention for 25 years. During that time, I started off as an intervention specialist in the schools for 11 years, then shifted to a supervisory position, overseeing the prevention/intervention program in 5 communities in Oregon. I then moved on to pursue a graduate degree in community organizing and received my Master’s Degree from Gonzaga University. I spent the last 14 years doing community organizing and coalition development in Cowlitz County.
My husband and I have a blended family with 4 children and 3 grandchildren and value our family time, and exploring the great outdoors in the Pacific Northwest, rain or shine.
