Donna Kelly
Region 5 Target Zero Manager
Bio: Donna Kelly graduated from Campion Academy in Loveland, CO and briefly attended Union College in Lincoln, NE. She started at an entry level position and worked her way up as “Business Systems Analyst” and “Corporate Trainer”. She taught fourth grade at a private school and was employed as a Director and Case Manager for two non-profit organizations that served unhoused youth. Donna has worked as a Certified Parent Peer Counselor for the State of Washington. For the past ten years she has served extensively in public health and youth substance use prevention and intervention. She became the Coalition Coordinator of the “Panther Country Coalition” of Pend Oreille County in 2018 and the first Coordinator of the Westside HEY Coalition in West Seattle. Ms. Kelly is highly experienced in community organization and coalition building. She was a presenter at a national and local prevention conference and continues to provide the workshop “Come Unity, How to Effectively Work in Communities that are Different than You” to the Seattle Police Department’s new recruits as part of their “Before the Badge” training. Donna is a certified facilitator and conducts evidenced based intervention workshops. She is dedicated to prevention science and researching to help communities find the solutions that are easily accessed and sustainable.
Donna is grateful and excited to be the Target Zero Manager for Pierce County. Her growing passion is discovering the behavior behind high risk driving habits and how to reinforce focused driving skills. She is placing all her experience and energy in building a successful community coalition that will work together to create synergy and help Pierce County become safer for all who share our roadways.
