Traffic Research Education for Driver Safety (TREDS) Training
An employer-based training program designed to encourage safe driving habits. The program is targeted to industries with a higher rate of young driver employees, commercial trucking organization partners, and state agencies with vehicle fleets. This training will also complement the Employer Distracted Driving Policy Development Toolkit to increase focused driving skills in support of the adoption of a workplace distracted driving prevention policy.
King County Distracted Driving Prevention Campaign
This is a distracted driving prevention campaign focused on King County, the most populated county in Washington. The campaign involves the King County Task Force planning enforcement patrols in the spring and summer and an educational campaign using traditional and social media to inform and educate the public about the dangers of distracted driving.
