TARA TSEHLANA
Region 4 Target Zero Manager
Bio: Tara Tsehlana recently relocated to Washington and is a native of South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Master of Science in Youth Development/Nonprofit Management from Clemson University. Following graduate school, Tara served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho, southern Africa where she taught entrepreneurship to trade school students.
In the years since returning from Peace Corps service, Tara’s work has focused on identifying and addressing the community’s needs – from workforce development to public health. She is hosted by the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office where she also manages the Office’s federal and local grants, special projects, community engagement, and media relations.
