Jennifer Dorsett and David Dorsett
Region 14 Target Zero Managers
Bio: Jennifer is a graduate of Pasco High School and started a career in Chemical Dependency while attending college in 2002. She holds an AA degree in Human Service and an AAS in Chemical Dependency, is a State Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor and Nationally Certified Prevention Specialist. Jennifer is passionate about her community and making her area a safe place for her children to grow up. Throughout college and for years to follow she worked for local agencies and gained experience as a facilitator and community leader. In 2007 she took a position as a Prevention Intervention Specialist with ESD123 and started the first local school based treatment program in Benton and Franklin Counties, 7 challenges. As her career progressed she became a supervisor of the program and continued to build school based services throughout Tri-Cities with her team. Jennifer took a position with the Benton Franklin Department of Human Services in 2013 and served as a Community Coordinator in both Benton and Franklin Counties for local Substance Abuse Coalitions and later assisted the community in being awarded with a Drug Free Communities Grant. Creating partnerships with local law enforcement was part of her daily work as she began to grow her knowledge and passion around traffic safety.
David is a graduate of Prosser High School and holds a BA degree from Washington State University. David has worked in public health for the past 20 years. Starting from control operator and working his way up to Director at Franklin County Mosquito Control District, his passion for keeping the community safe and up to date on local health impacts has made him a trusted voice in the community. He has a passion for safety and law and serves as a Master Hunter through Washington State Department of Fish and Wild Life. David has experience working with government, policy, program development and was chosen by County Commissioners to serve on the community TRAC board. His background in managing staff, media and his advocacy for community wellness continues to serve as an asset to Region 14.
Together Jennifer and David live in Pasco WA with their 4 children. Dedicated to Traffic Safety, this team leads Region 14 Task Force with passion and excitement!
