Marsha Masters
Region 9 Target Zero Manager
Bio: I am a retired school teacher from Olympic High School in the Central Kitsap School District. During my 30-year teaching career, one of my students was killed in an alcohol-related car crash. He was a very good friend of my step-son, and his family is still very good friends of ours. This was by-far the toughest time of my teaching career, dealing with that empty place in my class. I found Mothers Against Drunk Driving and have enjoyed over 27 years volunteering to help victims and stop impaired driving. It is very rewarding, but also very heartbreaking. After retirement, I was hired by the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office as the Region 9 Target Zero Manager. I thoroughly enjoy my job, and the people I work with. My tag line of “One life lost is one too many,” says it all.
